Saturday afternoon was sublime. One of those October days so special because there are few such days remaining before winter weather sets in. Even though the tables have all been stacked away, I sat out on the patio at the Kicking Horse Cafe savouring a coffee and the view as the sun drifted down to the west….
The leaves are falling in the Columbia Valley near Parson, British Columbia. This is a beautiful part of the Valley and well worth the drive from Radium to Golden. There are plenty of interesting places to stop along the way. Turn west off the highway, across the Columbia River and into the wetlands and pastures….
