I took a late summer evening drive to Spillimacheen to photograph some of the active weather in the area. The sun was shining in Radium but as I arrived in Spilli a dark ominous active storm cell filled the valley.
Thunderstorms and rain rolled through the valley around Spillimacheen and Brisco yesterday. This view overlooks the Columbia River and the wetlands with the Canadian Rockies beyond under a sullen grey sky. Highway 95 lies between the river and the mountains. It’s just a short
